V Magazine at UVA is a magazine at the University of Virginia hosting upwards of 100 upcoming creatives. As a UVA magazine, we intend to develop and strengthen the community of University creatives, provide a space for budding artists to experiment and refine their skills for future professional endeavors, and highlight student work and talents of both national and local artistry.

Rachel Mulvaney
Rachel Mulvaney joined V Mag in September 2022 as a production staffer and now serves as co-Editor-in-Chief. She is a fourth-year from Arlington, Virginia studying global development studies and public policy & leadership. Her career aspirations include working in the international development sphere with a focus on refugee resettlement. Her all-time favorite piece of media is the book Just Kids by Patti Smith. A fun fact about Rachel is that she was born on the last minute of 2003!

Kieran Warner
Kieran Warner joined V Mag in September 2023 as a social media staffer and now serves as Co-Editor-in-Chief. She is a third-year from Oakton, Virginia studying commerce and media studies. Her dream job would be to do the marketing/branding for a music festival. Her all time favorite piece of media is the Punisher album by Phoebe Bridgers. A fun fact about Kieran is that she is part of a stand-up comedy duo (shoutout @scapegoatunderground)!

Sabrina Levy
Sabrina Levy joined V Mag in August 2023 and now serves as the Copy Director. She is a fourth-year from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania studying chemistry with minors in English and computer science. Her career aspiration is to work in the biomedical chemistry research field. Her all-time favorite piece of media consumed is Emma by Jane Austin, and the novel’s 2020 film adaptation. A fun fact about Sabrina is that she lived in Zurich, Switzerland for three years as a kid!

Naya Akute
Naya Akuete joined V Mag in August 2023 as an events staffer and now serves as the Advocacy Director. She is a fourth-year from Gainesville, Virginia studying Commerce. In her future, she hopes to be a real estate investor. Her favorite piece of media is Desperate Housewives because it’s packed with comedy, actions, and life lessons. A fun fact about Naya is that she loves to draw and paint, and used to do a lot of realism in her portraits!

Vivian Nam joined V Mag in September 2024 as a design staffer and now serves as one of the Social Media Directors. She is a second-year from Chantilly, Virginia studying IT and Marketing in the McIntire school of Commerce. Her career aspirations are to work in the marketing field. Her all-time favorite piece of media is Beyoncé’s Renaissance album. A fun fact about Vivian is that she has an extra bone in her neck!

Kenneth Nguyen joined V Mag in the Fall of his second-year as a videographer and now serves as co-Production Director. He is a fourth-year from Herndon, Virginia studying film and computer science. His career goals include to work in a field with some kind of visual production aspect. His all-time favorite piece of media is the movie Y Ty Mama Tambien. A fun fact about Kenneth is that he has a twin brother named Vincent!

Sophia Chlipala joined V Mag in September 2024 and serves as co-Events Director. She is a second-year from Breckenridge, Colorado studying in the Batten School with a double major in media studies and a minor in entrepreneurship. Her dream job would be to be a travel documentary director. Her all-time favorite piece of media consumed is the book Little Women and the 2019 movie adaptation. A fun fact about Sophia is that she has been skiing since she was two!

Kendall Lehman joined V Mag in September 2022 as a production team member and now serves as the co-Director of Finance. She is a fourth-year from Forth Worth, Texas studying Commerce with concentrations in finance and management on the global commerce track with a minor in Spanish. Her dream job would be to be a gallery proprietor, specifically in Taos, New Mexico. A fun fact about Kendall is that she had an actor’s equity card and got to miss school in third grade because she was technically a child actress for three years!

Ruby Foster joined V Mag in November 2025 and is now the Website Director. She is a first-year from Seattle, Washington studying media studies and hoping to double major in commerce with a minor in French. Her dream job would to be the editor of Travel and Leisure. Her all time favorite piece of media is the show New Girl. A fun fact about Ruby is that during covid she lived on an island in the Pacific Northwest called San Juan Island!

Anna Stamey joined V Mag in August 2025 and is the Assistant Advocacy Director. She is a second-year from Richmond, Virginia studying cognitive science and foreign affairs. She plans on being a psychologist but her dream job would be to work as a publicist at Vogue. Her all-time favorite piece of media that she’s consumed is the Vogue article “Is having a boyfriend embarrassing now?” A fun fact about Anna is that she can juggle!
